James Perry graduated in Computing and Electronics with first class honours from Heriot Watt University in 2001. Since then he has worked on a wide variety of novel and high performance computing projects at EPCC, involving accelerator platforms, scientific simulations, machine learning, and hybrid parallelism. He is proficient in many programming languages, including C++, Python, Java, PHP and JavaScript, and has experience with industry standard technologies and libraries such as OpenMP, MPI, CUDA and PyTorch.
